Sealing strips made of silicone rubber feature a transparent, smooth surface, soft elasticity, non-toxicity and odorlessness.
They have good elasticity, resistance to high and low temperatures (-40℃ to 220℃), resistance to aging and deformation, and can withstand mild acids and alkalis.
They also perform well in ozone resistance, solvent resistance and electrical insulation, making them an ideal choice for seals in chemical, pharmaceutical, food, electronics and machinery industries.
Tubes made of silicone rubber offer excellent high-temperature resistance (200℃ to 380℃) and low-temperature resistance, with good physiological stability and low compression set (less than 50% at 300℃ for 48 hours).
The breakdown voltage is 20–25 KV/mm.
They are ozone and UV resistant, widely used in medical drainage, electronics, lighter tubes, ignition gun tubes, wires and cables, machinery and other fields.
Processed into sealing strips and flange gaskets, they perform well in drying equipment, especially on dryer doors, with a service life more than three times that of ordinary rubber seals.
